Terms of Service for Membership Registration
[Chapter 1: General Provisions] Article 1 (Purpose) These terms and conditions aim to regulate the terms and procedures for using the email and website services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by the Social Cooperative Geurutegi (hereinafter referred to as "Website"). Article 2 (Definitions) The terms used in these terms and conditions are defined as follows: Member: A person assigned a user ID. ID: A combination of letters or numbers approved by the website. Article 6 (Application for Use) Users can apply for use by filling out the membership application form provided by the website via the internet. Article 7 (Approval of the Application for Use) Approval is granted when the applicant correctly fills out all required information in the application form. The website may refuse approval in the following cases: If the applicants current residence is not under the jurisdiction of the district office. If the applicant is a business, corporation, or organization without an office within the websites jurisdiction. If the application contains false information. If the application is made using another person's name. If the application fails to meet other necessary conditions. Article 8 (Changes to Contract Information) Members may request modifications via the internet if there are changes to the information provided during application. [Chapter 3: Responsibilities of the Contracting Parties] Article 9 (Website's Responsibilities) The website shall not disclose or distribute any personal information of members to third parties without their consent, except in cases where a legal request is made by a government agency, for criminal investigations, or under other relevant laws. Article 10 (Member Responsibilities) Members must not engage in the following activities while using the service: Illegally using another member's ID. Copying, publishing, or providing service-obtained information to third parties. Infringing on the copyright or other rights of the website or third parties. Spreading content that violates public order and morals. Engaging in activities deemed criminal. Violating other related laws. Members cannot use the service for business activities, and the website is not responsible for any consequences arising from such use. Members cannot transfer or gift their service rights or contractual position to others, nor use them as collateral. [Chapter 4: Service Use] Article 11 (Member Responsibilities for Personal Websites) Members are responsible for managing their homepage, message boards, guestbooks, and registered data. Members cannot arbitrarily delete or change materials provided by the website. Members must not register content that violates public order, morals, or third-party rights, including copyrights. Members bear full responsibility for any consequences arising from such actions. Members must independently manage and back up their website content. Article 12 (Management and Deletion of Member Posts) To ensure efficient service operation, the website may impose restrictions on memory space, message size, and storage duration. It may delete content without prior notice in the following cases: Defamation or slander against other members or third parties. Violation of public order and morals. Content linked to criminal activities. Infringement of the website’s or third-party copyrights. Posting obscene content or linking to pornographic sites. Violations of other relevant laws. Article 13 (Copyright of Posts) The copyright of posted content belongs to the author, and members may not process or sell service materials for commercial use. Article 14 (Service Availability) The service is available 24/7 unless technical or operational issues arise. However, it may be interrupted due to regular maintenance. Article 15 (Service Use Responsibility) Users must not engage in hacking, linking to obscene sites, or illegal distribution of commercial software. The website is not responsible for any resulting business losses, damages, or legal actions. Article 16 (Suspension of Service Provision) The website may suspend service provision in the following cases: When maintenance work on service equipment is required. When telecommunications services are suspended by authorized providers. When system inspections are necessary. When unavoidable circumstances arise. [Chapter 5: Termination and Use Restrictions] Article 17 (Termination and Use Restrictions) Members who wish to terminate their contract must apply for termination online, and the website will process the request after verifying their identity. The website may terminate the service agreement or suspend service without prior notice in the following cases: If the user illegally uses another person’s ID or password. If the user intentionally disrupts service operations. If the user provides false information upon registration. If the same user registers multiple IDs. If the user distributes content that violates public order and morals. If the user defames or disadvantages others. If the user transmits excessive information or spam. If the user spreads computer viruses that damage or disrupt information systems. If the user infringes on intellectual property rights of the website or others. If the user illegally accesses or uses personal information, IDs, or passwords of others. If the user posts obscene content or links to pornographic sites. If the user violates other relevant laws. [Chapter 6: Disclaimer] Article 18 (Disclaimer) The website is not responsible for any information or materials obtained through the service. The website does not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, or any other aspect of the information posted by members. Article 19 (Jurisdiction) In the event of a dispute arising from service use, the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction over the website main office in South Korea.
